The Vista Ridge Wellness Forum

Mission: To educate, inspire and support our community in its efforts to achieve and maintain a healthy diet
and lifestyle. As a group, we are open, enthusiastic, compassionate, supportive, truthful, generous and
grateful. We accept each other where we are in this journey and recognize that we are all whole and
exactly where we need to be in this moment.
Format:
1.Introduction and information meeting April 14, 2010
2.One topic per month with action steps to work on for levels 1, 2 and 3.
3.True Nature Diet and Lifestyle Program meetings, if interested.
4.Web site reflecting monthly topics, notes from meeting, Q & A, special classes and/or events (cooking, kids,
etc.), guidelines and rules, mission, “about us” – (how we came about and why)
Guidelines:
1.No sales or self-promoting except for that which is a part of the forum.
2.No judgment
3.We allow each other to speak but know that personal processing is for another setting.
4.We stay on point but take note of other topics to schedule for another meeting.
5.We don’t make excuses.
6.We take responsibility for our choices.
7.We stay in the moment and realize and accept we are whole and exactly where we need to be even as
we desire to learn and grow.
8.We present ideals as goals to work toward instead of reasons to beat ourselves up for not being “perfect”.
9.We recognize there is no such thing as perfect
10.We recognize there is no one answer for everybody.
11.We accept ourselves and each other where we are right now and work from that place.
12.No complaining.
13.We support each other in a way that does not promote rationalization, victimhood/martyrdom or lack
consciousness.
